We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as our Product Training Manager. In his role, you will develop, implement and coordinate the delivery of product training across Australia, New Zealand and Waterco’s overseas entities.

As a Product Training Manager you will provide expert product-specific training packages, demonstrations and training to customers and employees on the features and operation of all Waterco products.

You will also be delivering internally developed courses to small and large groups, provide online training modules, demos, oversee hands-on labs, creation of online training modules and convey best practices.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably in product training
  • Good technical aptitude to facilitate effective transfer of product information
  • An understanding of features-benefits-solutions selling
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Be able to travel as needed

Salary package - A suitable salary package including car allowance, superannuation and incentive scheme will be negotiated with the right candidate.

We are seeking a professional and experienced multi store Retail Manager to join our team and take charge of our company stores.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall profitable management, operation & growth of all our company owned Swimart retail outlets. You will also be responsible for creating and leading a positive team orientated culture that is results driven and values the contribution and development of its people within all company stores.

  • Store sales & profitability (K.P.I. management)
  • Store Compliance
  • Inventory management & control
  • Retail & Service Standards & Presentation
  • Operational & Performance Budgets

Skill and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will be expected to have: 

  • Minimum 10 years’ retail experience
  • Minimum 7 years’ retail management experience with a minimum of 4 years in managing multiple outlets simultaneously 
  • Effective & productive people management skills
  • Experience in the development & management of retail store operational & financial budgets
  • A sound knowledge of digital marketing concepts including social media
  • Advanced IT operational skills
  • Strong negotiation & communication skills
  • Experience in the creation & implementation of Local Marketing Programs
  • Ability to identify & establish relevant K.P.I’s & manage the company’s retail assets in accordance with these K.P.I’s
  • Strong analytical & time management skills
  • Retail training skills & experience, preferably with certificate 4 or higher
  • Possession of appropriate tertiary marketing qualifications
  • Experience in the franchise industry preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the National Franchise Manager - ANZ, the key responsibility of the role is to develop and implement the Swimart National Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop & implement Marketing plans
  • Formulate & maintain the National Marketing budgets
  • Manage all Communications Channels used
  • Create, implement & manage specific marketing/advertising campaigns  on behalf of franchisees
  • Develop & execute specific marketing programs to grow product & service sales
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s Social Media activities
  • Manage the company’s eCommunications platform & co-ordinate all programs & activities

Skill and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will be expected to have:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ proven managerial skill & experience in the consumer / business marketing field;

SPASA NSW & ACT is a peak industry body dedicated to the swimming pool and spa industry. Our members include leading pool builders, manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, technical servicemen, subcontractors, installers, consultants and other allied trades.

SPASA is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides training and assessment to the entire swimming pool and spa industry. 

Due to our expansion, SPASA is currently looking for Trainers and Assessors to deliver nationally accredited training to the swimming pool and spa service sector.

The successful applicant(s) will be offered contract work delivering and assessing against units of competency from -

  • CPP31212 - Certificate III in Swimming Pool and Spa Service
  • CPP41312 - Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Service
  • CPC40808  - Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Building 

Ideally you will have the following;

  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • TAE40110 Cert. IV in Training and Assessment 
  • Demonstrated industry skills directly relevant to swimming pool and spa service / swimming pool building
